PRESENT-DAY PATENT- A PREVIEW

With the advent of Over-the-Top media services (OTT), the home-theatre setup and the HD video, the growing interest on smart TV usage has peaked up in the recent age. Whether it is watching a movie or any video of interest, on the touch or wave of a hand and with the internet use, anything and everything you watch out for pleases your eyes/ ears with increased resolution, originality, sound effects and colours in the name of smart TV.  These technological advancements in smart TV goes on thriving year to year, so as to ensure human comfort. One such advancement can be found in a present invention and it is the automatic adjustment of the home-theatre speakers, in relation to the viewer’s position.   As per the invention, a camera embedded in the TV itself will provide the image of the viewer to an Artificial Intelligence (AI) unit that enables the detection of the viewer’s location in the room as well as from the speakers based on the image. The home-theatre is then automatically adjusted using an adaptive controller, in compliance with the detected location data to provide appropriate sound effects to the viewer, irrespective of their location. Hence, manual adjustment of the speakers for the proper hearing of sound is completely evaded. Here, comes the added advantage of the invention- the air purifier installed on the smart TV. While sitting before the smart TV and enjoying the sound effects from the home-theatre system in a closed room, one might be unaware that the indoor air is five times more polluted than the outdoor air!!! Hence, this invention could greatly support the people residing at heavily air- polluted areas. Inventions of this kind, which provide technological advancements and prevent environmental hassles in one shot is always expected from future inventors.
